Fataga, a typical Canarian village

Fataga is a small village in the interland with about 400 inhabitants and is situated 5 km from the coast of Maspalomas. The small but beautiful romantic village is situated on a hill and is located in the “Valley of a Thousand Palms.”

Fataga is a typical Canarian mountain village with cobblestone streets, friendly people, a bakery and even a restaurant and bar. The highlight here is a picturesque church in the heart of the village. Nature lovers will certainly come into their own in the homeland. Cacti, succulents, palms and citrus plants such as lemons and oranges, in short, here you can relax easily a whole day

The village of Fataga is about 2000 years old. The name Fataga was created by a former source “El Cercado de Fataga“. Fataga is also nominated as world heritage.
