We should certainly not forget Pozo Izquierdo. I went here once on a particular day to watch the surf spectacle. That day, in my opinion, the wind was much stronger than normal, at least that’s my opinion.
For the experienced surfer, this is probably normal. The fact is that we struggled to hold ourselves upright from the strong winds on the promenade this day. My video camera was literally ripped out of my hands. But admittedly the spectacle of surfers from all over the world is breathtaking. So Gran Canaria, like other Canary Islands, is truly a true sports and surfing paradise.
